How I Samuel 18:8 Stood Out

I Samuel 18:8 (2022) – And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom? [compare Matt. 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mark 15:43 – Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counseller, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
