I Samuel 7:10 (2025) – And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. [cf. Ex. 17:13 – And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. Num. 16:11 – For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
