Judges 15:11 (2025) – Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them. [cf. Ps. 61:2 – From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. II Sam. 22:2 – And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; Ps. 18:2 – The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Ps. 92:15 – To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
