How Numbers 31:24 Stood Out

Numbers 31:24 (2025) – And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. [cf. James 4:7-10 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Job 15:14 – What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? Job 25:4 – How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? Matt. 23:26 – Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Eph. 5:25-27 – Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Ps. 119:9 – Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. John 15:3 – Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.]
