Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. Ps. 62:1-2 – Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. Ps. 62:5-6 – My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. Ps. 89:18 – For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. Ps. 94:22 – But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. Philip. 1:15-18 – Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.] Back to Previous Page (Or to go back to where you left off you can use the "Back" button of your browser)
