Num. 1:11 – Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni. (2026) – Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni. [cf. v. 36 – Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war; v. 37 – Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred. Gen. 35:16-18 – And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
