How Leviticus 19:32 Stood Out

Leviticus 19:32 (2025) – Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD. [cf. Is. 46:4 – And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. [hoar or hoary means gray or white]; Lev. 19:32 – Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD. Prov. 16:31 – The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.
