How Leviticus 18:4 Stood Out

Leviticus 18:4 (2025) – Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God. [cf. v. 5 – Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD. v. 6 – None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD. v. 21 – And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. v. 30 – Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God. Is. 45:5-9 – I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?]
