How Genesis 44:33 Stood Out

Gen. 44:33 – Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant abide instead of the lad a bondman to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brethren.

(2023) – Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant abide instead of the lad a bondman to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brethren. [compare II Cor. 5:21 – For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.]

(2022) – Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant abide instead of the lad a bondman to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brethren. [cf. I Pet. 3:18 – For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit]
