How Genesis 19:22 Stood Out

Gen. 19:22 – Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.


(2024) – Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. [cf. 18:23 – And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Rev. 3:10 – Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. I Thess. 5:9-10 – For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.]
