Genesis 17:17 (2023) – Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? [cf. 18:14 – Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Jer. 32:27 – Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Is. 59:1 – Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear; Matt. 19:25-26 – When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Mark 10:26-27 – And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.]
