2023 51:3 – Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host. [cf. 46:4-5 – Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines. Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD. I Kings 20:11 – And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off.
