2023 9:4 – And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments [cf. Ps. 26:1 – Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. Ps. 26:11 – But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. Ps. 41:12 – And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. Prov. 11:3 – The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Prov. 19:1 – Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise. [compare Ps. 23:1 – The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Ps. 34:9-10 – O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.] 11:41 – And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon? 2020 9:18 – And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land 11:28 – And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph. [Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite (11:26); cf. also Josh. 18:5; Zech. 10:6. Joseph's mother, Rachel, was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lehem (Gen. 35:19).]
